Description
In this specimen the tumour shows no evidence of haemorrhage. Some of the pale areas,
however, to be seen within the lesion are likely to be necrotic. Again the tumour is difficult to
delineate from the normal brain tissue at the lower margin; what appears to be an infarct at the
outer angle of the lateral ventricle in relation to the tumour may in fact be part of the tumour.
